The location for the Dart 10k Swim was absolutely perfect! Florence, our host, was mind-blowingly fantastic in the level of service she delivered. The shepherds hut was super cozy and we will definitely stay there again. The garden and trees were jaw-droppingly beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, generous, and beautifully presented. The hosts were incredibly helpful in ensuring we had a great stay. The house was impressively restored and comfortably furnished. The quiet location and countryside views were simply amazing. The owners were so friendly and welcoming, even to our dog. Our room had a large, comfortable bed and the views from the windows were superb. The house was warm, thanks to the underfloor heating in the modern en suite. The grounds were stunning to walk in. a super personal and boutique experience in a tranquil setting. Highly recommended!

The breakfast provided was delicious, with a variety of options including muesli, fruits, and milk for tea and coffee. The location of the hotel was also convenient, with easy access to Dartington Gardens, Shinners Bridge, and Totnes. The hosts were very knowledgeable and helpful, providing great recommendations for places to visit and park in the area.
There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, which was a bit inconvenient. the lack of a lock on the bedroom door made me feel a little uneasy.
